"Miranda Warnings and a valid waiver are prerequisites to the admissibility of any statement made by the accused during custodial interrogation. A person in custody must, prior to negotiation be clearly informed that: a. He has the right to remain silent b. Anything he says can be used against him in court c. He has the right to the presence of an attorney. d. If he cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for him if he so desires."
